Button popped off your favourite garment? Got a small tear you need to patch or repair? Is a hem or seam coming undone?

Come and join Karen in this hands-on practical workshop to learn some basic sewing skills which will help you to make simple repairs to your clothes and other textile items to extend their life!

You can bring your own item which needs repairing and/or come and learn the skills on some scrap material which will be provided.

This is a FREE drop-in workshop so no need to book! All materials provided.

Come and join Caroline from BePractical in this hands-on practical workshop to learn DIY skills, gain experience and build confidence to empower you to take on some DIY tasks in your own home.

All materials and tools are provided but you are welcome to bring your own tools if you’d like some guidance with your specific tool.

Learn to Solder and Make your own Custom Charging Cable Workshop

During this free, drop-in, workshop you will learn soldering skills whilst customising a USB charging cable compatible with your phone or device which you will get to take home and use everyday! Choose the cable colour, customize the length, decorate with beads and finally solder together your own unique charging cable.

All materials and tools are provided and cables are fully tested before being taken away.

For ages 12 – 100
